becoming better friends with someone

norm: when it is like this, it is good to do some things (see more)

In Australia it can be like this:

I know someone (I don’t know this person well). I want to know this person well.

I can do many things at many times with this person. We can say many things to each other.

I can say something like this to this person “I don’t know many things about you. I want you to say some things about you.”

It is good if after this, I can say some of the same kinds of things about me.

After some time, I can know this person well.

"I don't think I've ever asked you what you do for a living. Where do you work?"

"Tell me about yourself. Do you have any hobbies?"
