wanting to do something friendly with someone you don’t know well

norm: when it is like this, it is good to do some things (see more)

In Australia, it can be like this:

I am somewhere, someone else is in the same place. I know this person (I don’t know this person well). I want to do something with this person.

When it is like this, it will be good if I say something like this to this person “I want to do something with you a short time after this if you are not doing anything else.”

"It's good to see you. Shall we go grab a coffee before the presentation starts?"

"Would you like to go for a drink after the movie?"

meeting up with someone whom you haven’t seen for a whiletalking to acquaintances to be friends
