helping as a guest

attitude: some people can think like this (see more)

Many people in Australia think like this:

When I am in someone else’s place, it is good if I do some things.

It is good if I say “I want to do something good for you now. What things can I do?”

If I say something like this, this person else can feel something good because of it. This person else can know that I feel something good towards them.

Note

Common things to help with are when visiting someone's house are helping to prepare dinner and washing the dishes.

"Can I help with anything? Would you like me to set the table?"

"Here, would you like me to finish cooking the barbecue while you make the salads?"
