It can be like this:
Sometimes the teacher says something like this to students about something “Prove this something is like this: X.”
When it is like this, it is good if students about it like this: I want to know if this something is like this. Because of this, I have to do something.
Because of this, this student does something.
After this student has done it, they think something like this about it: I now know that it is like this: X. I know how I know it. I want other people to know it. I can do something because of this.
After this, this person does something. Because of this, other people can see something. Because of this, they can know it is like this: X.
They can’t say “It is not like this” after this.

"Discuss the two perspectives in the film, and use that discussion to prove that the structure of the film is reflective of their relationships."
