don't “drop in

norm: when it is like this, it is good to do some things (see more)

Many people in Australia think like this:

When I want to see someone at a place (their home), it is good if I say something like this some time before “I want to see you. What time will you be at home?”

It is good if I go to their home at that time.

It can be bad if I go to their home at another time.

"Will you be home this afternoon? I need to drop something at your house."

"When is a good time for me to come over and see the baby?"
