asking follow-up questions

norm: when it is like this, it is good to do some things (see more)

It can be like this: a short time before a student said something like this to a teacher “I want to know something. I think you can say it.”

After this, the teacher said something like this “This is how you can know it. This is how you can think about it.”

After this, it can be good if this student says “I want to know more. I want you to say more.”

"How do I start writing this essay?' 'You can start by thinking of three ideas which support your argument' 'Okay, should they be big ideas or small ideas?"

"What does 'onomatopoeia' mean?' 'It means a word for a sound that is made by using that sound.' 'Like what?' 'Such as 'buzz', 'crack' or 'sizzle'' 'What about a word like 'crash'?"
