The Australian Dictionary of Invisible Culture for Teachers
unreasonable demands and expectations
attitude: some people can think like this (see more)
Many people in Australia think like this:
It is not bad if someone (e.g. Lola) wants someone else (e.g. Hannah) to do something, if Hannah can think about it like this “I know why Lola wants me to do it. It will be good if I do it. I want to do it because of this.”
It is bad if Lola wants Hannah to do more.
"I know you just helped me finish that project in your own time, but could you please also write this report for me?"
"Hey, thanks for lending me your car for the weekend. Can you make sure it's filled with petrol before I borrow it?"
