be reasonable

attitude: some people can think like this (see more)

It is good to think about things before I say what I think. When I think about things for some time, I can know more about them. It is good if I know many things about something.

When I say what I think, it is good if I say “This is why I think like this” at the same time. It is bad if I say “I think like this because I feel something.”

When people say these words, they want to say “It is good if you think about things for some time. I want you to think about these things now.”

"Be reasonable. There's no way we can go to both parties at the same time, in two different cities."

"I don't want to do it (search for other options), I'm a professional coach but you know, I've got to get the best deal I can for myself. I've got to be realistic, I've got to be reasonable"

"There's no benchmark with which to make such a judgement, which is why in my report I suggested that it might be reasonable for the committee to consider whether there should be such a time frame."
