laughing at bad situations

attitude: some people can think like this (see more)

People can think like this in Australia:

Many people think like this about some things (e.g. starvation, someone dying, illness) “Something very bad is happening now. People don’t want this to happen. People want to do good things because of it. People can’t say bad things about it.”

It is very bad if people think like this at all times.

Because of this, it can be good if some people sometimes say some bad things about something like this (to people they know well).

It is good if they say it because they want people to laugh.

When people say things like this, they know that some people can feel something bad, they know that some people can think something bad about them because of it.

They don’t want to do something else because of this, this is very good.

"Alison's mum has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Alison and her mum say some things like 'Well it's only fair you give me some bad genes as well as the good looks' or 'I guess your turn to look after me has come a bit sooner than you expected!'"

"Harry gets some bad grades in school. Harry's dad says something like 'You're handsome so at least you can always be a model.'"

"Illa's home has been destroyed by a fire. She has lost everything. She says something like 'I thought it was about time I replaced the curtains anyways.'"
