not being intolerant of other people’s opinions

attitude: some people can think like this (see more)

Many people in Australia think like this:

When someone (e.g. Bobby) says “I think like this” about something to someone else (e.g. Stevie), it is not good if Stevie thinks like this: It is bad to think like this. People can't think like this. I don’t think the same.

It is bad to say something because of this.

"If Hillary says 'I hate all the trees in the city. They should all be cut down'. It is bad if Noni thinks or says 'You can't say that. You're a terrible person for even thinking that'. It is not bad if Noni says something like 'I think the trees are lovely, it's so nice to have shade in the city. And they are homes for so many animals'."

"If Terry says 'I really enjoy going to the ballet'. It is not good if Dominic thinks 'What are you? Soft? Only stupid people like the ballet'. It is not bad if Dominic says something like 'Ugh. No. The ballet is not for me. I really don't have the patience to watch something that long with no words.'"
